--Took the kids to the Pumpkin Patch at Chesterfield Berry Farm, last week. There was a lot more fun to be had than just pumpkins. We had such a fun, relaxing time together. The air was thick with a whole lot of smells; alfalfa, farm animals, apple cider, fresh glazed donuts, but very quiet and peaceful, like a country farm. The experience took me back to when I was little and loved the hay wagon rides. And yes, the kids are playing in a mountain of corn seed, they loved it. It reminded me of the Skousen popcorn kernel food storage plan, for the next thirty years.
