We keep a few planter boxes right outside our front door and we have so much fun cultivating the plants we keep in them. Its become a hobby for me and the kids. Every morning we water them together with our little watering cans that need to be filled a dozen times just to water everything. and we check out the new blossoms and cut off old and dead growth. All these plants we grew from seed - straight into the planter boxes almost two months ago. Its amazing to see them sprout and blossom in this lovely humid weather and with the help of a little Miracle-Gro. We planted a modge podge of flowers, basil, cilantro, tomatoes, marigolds and nasturtium with our second crop of peas just appearing. I hope we have this much fun with a real garden some day.

Wow! You really did update a lot. I had no idea you guys were doing so many fun things! I hope Sunday went okay for you...I was thinking about you. And don't worry. I did not get off easy. I had to substitute for in nursury for my sick sister-in-law!
I love your little garden! I'm attempting to grow one in my back yard, too. The trees in our yard block out most of the sunlight, which limits us to what we can grow, which makes me sad!
