Graduation and a Job

He's actually done it, I can't believe he did it! Congratulations mon ami! I knew you could :)We've had a pretty exciting, although quiet week this past week as Peter Graduated with his Masters in Health Administration. A culmination of 8 long years, well, some short, some long :) 4 children (which equals 4 pregnancies as well) 4 moves, 4 different wards, 3 different employments, a bit of school loans, late late nights, and some very worn sections of carpet where we both have spent a bit of time on our knees! Its been a quiet celebration, mostly within the walls of our home and our hearts. And now - we have the lucky, very priviledged position of ......paying back the school loans! yay!... the fun never ends ;) There are some people who are very fortunate to get right through school without too many hickups, so to speak, but for us, it hasn't been so fortunate. We have really struggled and we've learned a lot about work, faith and perseverance. And it has all paid off. We're so happy to be here on the other side, a little weary, but with stronger hearts. We wish that we could've had more family and friends out here to celebrate with us. John, Sheryl and Sharmain came out for a few days and we had a good time together. I can't believe its all over - no longer the student life so to speak. I think we're ready :) Peter has also accepted a job as the Associate Administrator over some of the divisions in Internal Medicine at at VCU. He is very excited! And that puts us here in Richmond for a little bit longer. He was very sad to leave CJW hospital since he learned so much there and made very close friends. But he's looking forward to meeting new friends at VCU. If you would like to share any thoughts or congratulations to him, please email, call or comment. He would love it!

Way to go Peter AND Michelle! You did it! We're going to miss you guys so much! Love all your updates Michelle. Now I know why Laurie said yesterday, "my mom has been on the computer for quite a while"! It was very cute.

Congrat's PETER and MIchelle!! Behind every student/father/husband with a degree there is a hard working supportive wife/mother at home who has been through a lot too! I am so glad that he found a job and hope things just continue to get better for you as well. You deserve it! It was fun to talk to you today and take care :)
